Dean Belk P.E. as an electrical only engineering firm and was soon joined by his partner Ron B. McKinney. In January 2007 Allied Consulting Engineers joined forces with Maloney Engineering to become a full service Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical firm. Allied offers a wide range of design experience in about every type facility. Allied's design philosophy is to provide a quality product for our clients, on time and within budget. We provide state of the art engineering while maintaining sensitivity to the environment and natural resources. We treat each project and client individually and tailor our design to meet their needs and desires while maintaining a quality design philosophy. Allied maintains an SBE certification in Charlotte, and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.. Allied's CAD system utilizes AutoCad Release 2007 & 2008, on Pentium 4 PC's, a Xerox 6204 laser plotter and other outside plotting sources to provide the latest in engineering deign and drafting needs. While with other firms, employees of Allied have won an IIDA Lighting Design Award and an ASHE Vista Renovation Team Design Award.
